We want YOU and your school to get involved, and here’s how…
Join Rachel Riley to create bunting for the biggest ever thank you party!
Rachel Riley is leading calls for tens of thousands of schools to join the fun and design, create and display their own bunting for Thank you Day and the Queen’s Jubilee. The bunting will be reused to decorate everything from bandstands and community halls, to railway stations and hospital wards – with some being specially displayed at Tate Britain, home to some of the greatest works of British art.
Our partners at the Eden Project have come up with some great tips on how to make your bunting.
The Big Jubilee Lunch is an official part of HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations and it’s a great way to meet neighbours & friends and to connect with your community.
Why not join with your neighbouring school or a local care home? Maybe it’s a picnic for parents or a cup of tea and a sandwich with a local group of older people?
It’s never too soon to start planning – you can plan your lunch for June 5th or another date that suits you!
Our partners at the Eden Project will explain everything you need to know about how to make it happen and how to encourage your community to join in.
We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Thank a Teacher campaign, and as part of this year’s National Thank a Teacher Day (26th May 2022) Thank a Teacher have created a special limited edition Thank you card, create yours now. Please join us in sending a card and let’s see how many amazing school and college staff we can thank!

Thank You Day will only happen if people get behind it. We want to give a huge thank you to our Queen (and to all our community heroes) by creating something worthy of their sacrifice and service. We want to build something truly special and make it an annual tradition for generations to come.
